Aluminum railings require minimal care and maintenance. We recommend your railing be inspected and cleaned at least twice per year with a mild, non-abrasive soap and water, using a soft sponge.
Our railing and divider systems are engineered to comply with, or exceed, the wind load requirements outlined in the Ontario Building Code and/or individual wind studies conducted based on specific geographic areas.
Spacing between pickets is typically 3 7/8” as building codes typically ask for a space not exceeding 4” in any opening of a railing system.
Yes, if a glass panel were to break, it could be replaced with a new one.
Railing heights are governed by the Ontario Building Code and/or building codes specific to certain geographical areas (i.e. City of Toronto). Typically, balcony and terrace railings will either be 1070mm or 1100mm in height from finished floor level.
We offer a virtually limitless selection of colors ranging from black, white, and silver to bronze, graphite grey and beyond. We have the ability to match or create any custom color to suite your needs.
We offer liquid paint and powder coating for our products. These coating types can be applied to meet the standards covered under AAMA 2604 or AAMA 2605 depending on your specifications, requirements, and the geographical location of your project. Both standards govern high performance architectural coatings that ensure excellent color retention, durability, and weather resistance, with AAMA 2605 coatings being the highest architectural coating standard used most typically in harsh environments such as oceanfront properties.
Liquid painting is a spray-applied coating process that provides a smooth, consistent finish and excellent color flexibility for aluminum products. It is well suited for complex shapes and thinner coating requirements, while also offering good UV resistance and aesthetic performance for architectural and industrial applications.
Powder coating is a dry finishing process where electrostatically charged powder is applied and then cured under heat to create a durable, uniform surface. It offers excellent resistance to scratching, chipping, and corrosion, making it a highly durable and environmentally friendly option for architectural and exterior aluminum products.
We offer a wide variety of aluminum railing systems to suit any project. We have picket and glass styles, as well as various handrail designs, which can be top or fascia mounted.
Yes. All our railings are fully customized. Simply select the style of railing and colour you would like, and we are able to find a design that works for you. We can also accommodate most height or unique angle requirements.
We offer various types and thicknesses of glass ranging from 5mm to 20mm and encompassing both monolithic tempered glass and laminated glass. Available colors include various shades of grey, black, blue, green, bronze, and of course, clear and ultra clear. It is also possible to work with us to create custom colors depending on your needs. We are also able to supply digitally printed glass which can include simple patterns such as bird friendly markers to more complex custom patterns in a wide array of colors.
We offer a two-year materials and labour warranty on all services and products.
